At Inspire Carolina Inc. and LYNK Robotics, we believe the most powerful growth happens through real, hands-on experiences. Our students take on meaningful challenges—designing and building competitive robots, solving complex problems together, and engaging with the wider community. These moments spark inspiration while also building practical skills in leadership, teamwork, and innovation. The result is more than just a season of robotics—it’s an experience that prepares young people to thrive and make a lasting impact wherever life takes them.
As a parent of grown men, I have watched what this program is doing for an extraordinary group of young people. LYNK is about so much more than robotics. They are learning to communicate and collaborate not only with their teammates, but also with other teams, competition officials, judges, and members of the community, and are building valuable skills which will benefit them even if they pursue an education and career that has nothing to do with robotics. Every member has something to contribute whether they are experienced or a novice. It is just beautiful to watch them grow together and learn from every part of the process. I wish my sons had been able to take part of an experience like this!

"My son as a student has built confidence to be more capable of speaking in front of others during community outreach opportunities. Also, his attention to detail has greatly increased with the complexity of the projects that he is being challenged with!
"I came in wanting to know how to build a robot and wanting to cad and through the year I’ve learned so much and now I use the skills I’ve learned in almost every day engineering tasks."
"The team, everyone has a part to play in and I haven’t seen a single person being left out or ignored in what they’re doing.
...I can see a big shift happening if I continue to be involved with the team."
